I’m not sure about this problem, I suddenly had a smaller GUI on my Windows screen which cut off part of the info being displayed. It wouldn’t allow any mod to the BlueDV screen display... no resizing or anything. I tried to do a repair and an uninstall/reinstall, but no help. I just installed a new installation on a different pc. We’ll see. 73 Ron, K0AAJ

. Good ideo to have a setting of kill timer. I misspoke : The feature exists but you have to activate "start/stop beep". For my part, the "start/stop beep" do not interest me because in reception of a QSO, i do not like this fonctionnality So the ten bips alert only would be fine. A new button in the menu to separate the two functions would be nice :) Other point : Since the change to version 1.0.0.9548, in DMR mode, it miss the information of current TG used in reception signal, information which was at right next to TX/RX bargraph. Best regards, Ludovic - F5PBG.

Thanks to everyone who develops around the key DVSTick 30
and especially to PA7LIM. . Good ideo to have a setting of kill timer. I sometimes speak after the time-out because I do not always realize that the time is up. Is it possible to have a beep of time out to alert us ? (activable / deactivatable option in the menu) About buttons REF/DCS/XRF/XLS : I use XLX but when i shutdown the software and restart it after or when i stop/start "SERIAL", i am not to the XLX button but on the REF button. Is it possible to stay on the last setting before shutdown or stop "SERIAL" ? Fine command in the menu "Always on top" but no possible to reduce the windows to keep only some information in order to have a little windows like that for example which will be fine on little screen : https://www.cjoint.com/doc/18_10/HJwhXPecdJg_bouton-ambe.jpg Best regards, Ludovic - F5PBG http://radioamateur.forumsactifs.com/t2166-cle-usb-dvstick-30-de-dvmega-configuration-sur-ordinateur

Just installed version 1.0.61 from Play store which has fixed the issue and also added PTT support.

Re: I finally realized why my Ambe server crash
It is not intended as a multi-user system. It is connectionless (UDP) so there is no session information for when a user is using it. Putting that type of control in would require changes both to the server and client applications. You might be able to have a firewall lock the UDP port for a given timeframe.

I finally realized why my Ambe server crash
These days I tried to run AMBE SERVER under Windows, Linux Rasbian and Linux Compass but the result was always the same, block after a few minutes of operation.
I finally realized why my Ambe server crash: In fact I made public my IP address to allow many radio amateurs to try the Server Ambe but I noticed that the software allows more users to connect at the same time and as a final result the server stops working. Now to solve the problem it would be useful if the server software allowed only one client at a time for the connection, the first one that enters finds free while others should display the inscription busy on their client program and not the inscription connecting. Who can I ask to propose this modification of the client and server programs? 73 Marco - IK6IOQ

Re: Ambe Server Crash
Marco,
As a datapoint, I just checked my Pi / ThumbDV at home (running Compass), it has been running for 48 days now. The last time it was rebooted was due to me having to move it physically. AMBEServer hasn't been touched since launched and was working as of two days ago. (Last time I launched Buster) 73, Kenny, KU7M

Re: Ambe Server Crash
Hi Marco,
A number of users have traced problems like this to an inadequate Power Supply. Make certain that you see 5V at the PI and that your connections are reliable. Thanks, Bryan K7UDR
