How to Add XLX 299 R to Host files of BluDV for Android?
Dev 9Y4DG
Good day, Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Is there any way I can add either XLX 299 R. XRF 299 R or DCS 299 R to the host files of BlueDV for Android?? Or is there any way of downloading and updating the host files to include any or all of the above reflectors?? Thank you again for your responses and guidance....73 Dev, 9Y4DG “Your chances of success in any undertaking can always be measured by your belief in yourself" ~Robert Collier~. This is not going to work. The ambe feature only works on windows. This because mono has issues with the sound card under Linux.

How to create a multi-mode xreflector
Might be off-topic but I found the NWDR ThumbDV fantastic for this lil project of mine. I wrote up a document to help people understand creating a cross-mode xreflector.

Re: BlueDV and ThumbDV no DMR
RE: "What are the differences and benefits when comparing “IPSC2-MINNESOTA” and “USA-MINNESOTA2” and “IPSC2-USA-MN2”?"
Choose whatever DMR+ server you like.
The fellow with the issue used the UK Video from YouTube
From watching the UK video of BLUEDV setup everything was setup for the UK servers
I was just trying to steer the fellow ham in the direction of USA DMR+ servers.
His issue was not about which server to use be it
“IPSC2-MINNESOTA” or“USA-MINNESOTA2”
His issue was he could not connect at all.
That is what I was focusing on.
After posting it to this group I contacted the fellow via his personal email account with my sample edited capture of the setup screen.
So by the time anyone else responded he was already configured and up on the air on DMR.
He sent me a shining email thanking me.
I am not interested in engaging any rhetoric, just wanted to get the fellow up and running simply and smoothly on USA servers not UK servers as
the YouTube video indicated.
I am sure the fellow will experiment with what servers work best for him at his location.
Anyone who wishes can use my sample setup screen or whichever one gives them a warm and fuzzy feeling and gets them through the night.
Beyond this the matter is closed

I am using a ThumbDV with BlueDV. I have configured BlueDV for BM type DMR and entered my DMR ID in DMR hotspot and simple. DMR Master 3102 passw1rd. I am unable to get the DMR button at the lower left of the main BlueDV to show DMR connected. I have no trouble with D-Star connecting. Is the password for the Master correct? I can think of no other reason for not connecting.

I have attached a screen snip of my settings screen. I am using a slightly different password. Perhaps the same will work for you? My password has a “zero” instead of a “one”. If that doesn’t fix it, then I suggest changing your US DMR master e.g., I use 3103.
