What software are you using? I recommend BlueDV for Windows.You need to determine what com port it is using and set that accordingly in the setup.

I would disagree -- because I have a device almost identical to the ThumbDV -- it is a DV3K AMBE USB dongle, and it works in the same dock just fine. I'm aware both the ThumbDV and DV3K USB dongles
