Hamvoip runs Arch Linux so yes you would have to compile from source and make sure you have all the development dependencies installed. I had a hard time doing anything with that version of Linux

Mike, You should be able to type directly into that dropdown box the TG number you want. From there it will be cached and from that point on you can select it with the drop down.
