After installing the new prebeta 9410, you have to go to setup check the AMBE baud rate 230400 or 460800 to match your ThumbDV.
I changed the appropriate settings close the program and rebooted my computer and all seems to be working well. After restarting the BlueDV software I made some miner adjustments to mic in windows for my recording device (mic) gain control, then on the BlueDV control panel you can fine tune your mic gain level with the (MIC volume) that has been added in this preBETA 1.0.0.9410. The AMBE server does not work for me, I think it's because of port forwarding in my router not being set yet. I have not used the AMBE server before, so I don't know anything about the AMBE server. Downloaded and running looking good. Reports on audio have all been positive (fine tuning). The only bug that i have found is that when logging on to brandmeister the audio from the software is over deviated,can cope with that. Now if we could change from brandmeister to DMR+ from the GUI (without having to edit setup)? Again thanks for all your help and enjoy the rest of your vacation. Best George, MI0CEO

Hi George, Thanks for your report!!! Will try to bring the DMR+, XLX and BM to the front of the app. Working on graphical screens on a 13" screen is not that fun.. Next week I have my 2 big screens again :-) Please let me know what you tuned so I can use this in the code. The BM "connected to" message will blow of your ears ( also on my radio ). I can try this over the weekend, but from an AMBEserver point of view it doesn't care if it is ThumbDV or PiDV.

Yes I did it (previous post) and it works nice ! I made several QSO's in DSTAR mode and DMR mode. Audio is fine now, good report from guys listen to me, in the two modes. Nice work ! Not officially. I have a separate version where I can make a DSTAR QSO with. No hang timer, no DMR.. Only AMBEServer. Just for fun.. It's fun on WIFI, not fun on 4G because of large data. Greets, David PA7LIM
