The Winlink development team would be interested in purchasing two units
when available through our 501C3 organization the Amateur Radio safety
Foundation. www.arsfi.org We have a
number sights were these could be tested here in Florida.
I have felt for a long time this is the kind of product that is needed in
amateur radio. It provides an important vehicle to leverage and encourage
advancement in digital communications.
I am also working with the CODEC2 group on the open source CODEC 2 and
modem. This radio should be very possible to support continual voice and
relatively high bandwidth FEC data simultaneously.
