It uses some of the GPIO busses and pins. These are not compatible across SBCs. A lot of the capability is due to the use of this functionality and would be limited by making it a USB device.

Could you provide more details on the accessory port of DRAWS such as whether the serial port is TTL levels or RS-232 levels (I’ll guess the former)?
