How are you looking to use this? It can be used locally (via the PC it's connected to) or remotely by running it as a server and using an android app. This gives you DMR and D-Star. I use the app

I am running Win 10 pro. I have inserted the ThumbDv and downloaded ThumbTest.exe and I get these results when I run it

Motorola have made it abundantly clear that they have no issues with DMR in the amateur world. That is why I don’t want MMDVMs being used for commercial purposes on DMR, P25 or NXDN (I know this one

I believe that DMR is not the issue, but infringing on the Motorola PROPRIETARY version of DMR (Called Moto TRBO) is the issue at hand. There are several other flavors of DMR, DMR Tier-1 and Tier-2,

So, one thought, not sure who has played with it. Many of the XLX reflectors (ie. XLX004 A - that I run) has a transcoder (produced by NWDR) on it. Thus XLX004 A is really MI5 SW2 DMR.

that implementing a DMR compatible mode for Thumb DV and their other
voice codec products is fraught with peril over patent

BlueDV can talk to the ThumbDV directly or through AMBEserver, but not both at the same time. If you have setup a working instance of AMBEserver then in BlueDV select AMBEserver, not AMBE3000. If
