Re: Problem installing software for DV3000
OK. I ignored the error message and it logged me in. The WinDV program
is actually called "DVnode (WinDV)" so you have to look around for it on
the page. I am downloading it now. Fingers

ThumbDV using Buster
Received my ThumbDV this week, fired up Buster, added my local reflector and boom. Works like a dream, excellent sound coming in and have had excellent audio reports from those listening.
Love it

Re: Two products now and no UDRX-440
Hi Paul, actually it’s 3 products now with the UDRC.
The UDRX remains our top priority internally. The other products were actually developed to allow some of the UDRX features to be tested

Two products now and no UDRX-440
Great to see product diversification for NWDigitalRadio. But, what is the status of the UDRX-440? Yes I have seen the latest video demonstration but where in the priority line does the UDRX-440 sit

Documentation is tied to product release.
If one knows how to open audio devices under Linux and manipulate GPIO pins on a Raspberry Pi, then one has the basic knowledge to program the UDRC.

Re: Thumb DV Software
Be aware that using mbelib with DSD to decode voice likely violates patents. Use of licensed AMBE decoders such as PiDV or ThumbDV is recommended.

I may have just given myself a reason to need several DV3000 or
ThumbDVs. If I understand this right, a rPI, DV3000 and a 25$ SDR
dongle is all it takes to make an all (>HF) band DStar

The short answer is Yes, if you get the USB version, the ThumbDV.
The longer answer. Whether the PiDV (for GPIO connection on a Raspberry Pi) or the ThumbDV (USB), the DV3000 looks like a serial
