Is there an upgrade route?

You will be able to obtain the image (an alpha, then beta) shortly - it is a matter of a download and placing it on an SD card.  When the cases become available you will be able to purchase one for your board.

The workstation is an integration of the board, case, etc. along with the Pi, but each component can be obtained separately.

Ed,

It is probably better for you to wait for the image to be ready.   It can be used with the board or workstation, but the workstation will be integrated and probably easier for those unfamiliar with Linux.

The workstation is slated (subject to change) to be just under $300 and should be available Q1 - 2019.

If response is similar to what we are seeing for the board, it will be in high demand upon release.

Re: DRAWS Update

You can't have overkill :)

Raspberry Pi 2, 3, or 3+ should all be fine.  The more CPU power can go to applications.

It appears that LinuxRMS may stop working in the near future when Winlink
CMS stops supporting legacy mode.
It appears that is not the case.

Go to http://www.pa7lim.nl/bluedv-windows/ and watch the video on configuration. The ThumbDV runs at 460800 baud.

As I said AA4RC will provide one, and dynamic DNS, as part of DPLUS, but your admin has to ask.

I free certificate can also be obtained through letsencrypt.org

John, the security certificate issue is one the central DStar office (for lack of a better word) needs to do. It isn't done on an individual site basis.

It's also affecting the page at my local repeater, AA3E. The op told me they handle certs elsewhere.
