I'm still holding tight for the metal case I ordered.

The Pi 4 version as well as an Anderson Plug version are now updated in the same thingiverse entry.
Personally i’m not updating my DRAWS to the new Pi 4 for some time, don’t really need it yet and I think there is some settling of the kernel and other bits, the same issue arose when the 3B+ was first introduced. Temperature, under “normal” use I haven’t hit any problems with thermals yet, however I am trying to design something to let a fan operate, unfortunately the design of the board, with connectors on all sides, makes this difficult.

There may be thermal considerations for a Rpi 4 -- so report back when you try one. Metal cases are better than acrylic or plastic for helping dissipating heat. We don't have numbers, but reports are that the 4 runs warmer than the 3. John D. Hays Kingston, WA K7VE

Search for a Taoglas TG.08. It's passive, so you may need to make sure you have good LOS to the sky, but at least the antenna doesn't have a long whip on it. Steve KC1AWV

Anybody got a recommendation on an antenna they've had good experiences with? Thanks,

+1 for that Alex. If you have a case with power pole out the back and GPS out the side I want one!

Alex,
Nice design.
Did you have one for the original DRAWS with the GPS port in the side and the power out of the end?
I would be very interested in checking that out if you had it.

As previously mentioned, updates will be provided when we have solid information on when the manufacturer will be able to deliver. We have gone through some revisions, and the layout of the new Pi 4 requires yet another revision, but it is being worked. Any personal requests should go to the support form at the bottom of http://nwdigitalradio.com/support/ where it can be handled by sales/customer service. Be sure to include the order number. Also UDRC/DRAWS™ topics should go to https://nw-digital-radio.groups.io/g/udrc

Is it possible to run piardopc by John Wiseman with the DRAWS hat? If so, what startup parameters would I use?

Hi All,
The new Raspberry Pi 4 has some interesting features and we certainly will be looking at it, however, we at NW Digital Radio do not get any advance engineering information from the Raspberry Pi Foundation, so we must also wait for shipments to have test units.
In the short term, we recommend sticking with the currently supported models of Pis unless you are familiar with building software and self support. We are also looking at updating the design for the production (non-beta) DRAWS™ aluminum cases to accommodate the 2, 3, and 4 Pi motherboards.
Stay tuned.

Dreuge, that topic and most other discussions about DRAWS are in the "udrc" subgroup of nw-digital-radio. Perhaps you weren't searching the subgroup.
