Re: Kind of a weird 'bug'? No soundcard detected after upgrade

Art - KC7SDA

when I go check to see if its detected (via checking the eeprom) it shows as being registered (cat /proc/device-tree/hat/product)

here's the output of the scripts:

one note: I did have to pull down an updated version of your git repository as the one i had didn't have the script.

I am starting to think that the alsa mixer somehow got uninstalled, and apparently its not in apt's repository.

It wouldn't be a huge deal to blow this away and do a fresh start, but its a worry for me as I have about 10 people here in sudden valley that I'm the go to person for when something goes wrong!

Thanks for your help!

this morning i did an update/upgrade (I had already done the hold
back a while ago for the sound) and now fldigi doesn't load and when
I do aplay -l I get 'no soundcards found'

the udrc is detected and I've removed power (hard power cycle) to see
if that solves the issue, it didn't.
Not understanding:
- udrc is detected (by what)
- aplay -l gives 'no soundcards found'

On your RPi do the following and post the console output.

git clone

cd n7nix/systemd/bin
cd n7nix/debug

/Basil n7nix
