My results were not successful.
I am using a Pi 4 - 2gb memory with the Buster downloaded today. I did not turn on anything except to connect to wifi. After the install I did enable ssh.

Doesn't look like /boot/config.txt got the dtparam=audio=on made it to the last line.
I am not sure why my results are so different.
