Comments on the use of Large SD cards for DRAWS?
Charlie Hein
Haven't seen this posted anywhere so I figured I'd ask here. I have a couple of large (200 GB) SDXC cards I could dedicate to this project. However, I read in the documentation that the minimum size is only 16 GB, so I'm wondering if this would be a gross overkill. Is there any advantage to having the large amount of free space, or pitfalls with using the SDXC cards?

Re: No Sound Cards with UDRC and aplay -l [PROBLEM SOLVED]
Today I did an apt-get update and apt-get upgrade and low and behold, the UDRC has returned.

Bryan,
That’s the problem! Most of the critical lines are missing in that file.
Mine reads: chip "ads1015-*" label in3 "User ADC Differential“ label in4 "+12V" label in6 "User ADC 1" label in7 "User ADC 2" compute in4 ((48.7/10)+1)*@, @/((48.7/10)+1)
Nothing about label ln5 or the “compute” for that line. I’ll create those lines and see what happens.

pi@K7UDR:~ $ cat /etc/sensors.d/draws #DRAWS uses the TL024 Which is SW Compatible with thw ADS1015 #It's an 8 Channel ADC, but only 4 Channels are pinned out
chip "ads1015-*" label in4 "+12V" label in5 "+5V" label in6 "User ADC 1" label in7 "User ADC 2" compute in4 ((48.7/10)+1)*@, @/((48.7/10)+1) compute in5 ((10/10)+1)*@, @/((10/10)+1)

Bryan and John, Essentially the same as yours Bryan! The one line different says: in5: +2.50 V Same as on the Dashboard.
The very first thing I did when I re-checked it just now was to update the DRAWS manager “just in case”. I also came back and rebooted the Pi just in case and it still reads in5: +2.50 V. I also had run the manager update yesterday, but had not rebooted – same result.
I wonder if being behind one image version might be an issue? I have lost track, but think this is v16.
Also, are you both running Pi3’s or also Pi4’s?

Re: Cases
Hi Bryan,
How do I cancel an order for a case? I tried submitting a request via the proper contact web page but have not received a response in well over a month. I no longer have a need for the case, and I am not able to cross the closed border to pick up from my US address anyway. I checked my PayPal account and have not seen any refund. This refers to Order #6413, April 20, 2019. Is there a better way to cancel the order rather than using the contact given for this process? Many thanks, Chuck - VA7UL / VA7ULD / VE1CAM

Bryan,
That’s very interesting! Here is what the new board I just received is reporting:
I see “in5: +2.50V” not “+5V: +5.06V” on that top line. Maybe I need to run an update of code here? Jack – KD4IZ

connect(): Address already in use might indicate you have 2 instances of wl2kax25, wl2ktelnet or wl2kd running. It could happen if you had some hang or other problem that leaves the connection to the ax25 socket still connected. Since I have never seen this problem I suggest you reboot and try it again. I suspect you would see this error when trying to connect to an RMS Gateway as well. Ed Bloom, KD9FRQ via groups.io <ewbloom=verizon.net@groups.io> writes:

wl2kax25 -c WA9APQ without the question marks! This syntax sends to the RMS Gateway which it looks like you can't connect with: wl2kax25 -c WA9APQ-10 Hearing a station with mheard does not guarantee that you will be able to connect to it with a Winlink client.
I am struggling to send email peer to peer where the end station is
