#So I shutdown changed from an iPhone to an Android running a hot spot realizing it had not worked since the converse.

You will notice immediately after the above lines appear that the
ax25dev.service starts fine. The systemd unit file has a dependency of:
After=direwolf.service
and direwolf has some startup

I have always gotten a gps lock, but this occurred after relocating to my work shop.
but no lock yes I get a dozen or so satellites but no lock.

Where is your GPS antenna located are you getting a lock?

I have no idea how that happened except I do recall it happened when I opened the Draws Manager local host 8080.
