Re: DRAWS FT817 no TX audio
Another suggestion is to do a hard reset on the FT-817 itself to make sure none of the internal settings for audio / accessory port have been changed.

Re: URONODE and NODESEARCH
J P,
Sorry for the lag.
I am jealous that you are working on this as I'm trying to complete some
other things at the moment. I really want to get URONODE & LinFBB BBS up on my
packet infrastructure

Re: DRAWS FT817 no TX audio
Back Again after a delay.
Ran FT817 .sh as suggested
Still the same 2 radios - ft817 and uBITXv6 (uBITX thinks it is a FT817 for WSJTX purposes)
Both radios work fine with another Pi USB audio RXTX

Re: Just to be clear. What pins are for CAT?
None of them, there's a separate port on the DRAWS that gives you a
TTL-level UART serial port.
THAT, is what you want for doing CAT. Or you provide a separate cable
hooked up via USB.
I'll

I would answer if I had one, John. I have my Draws hat, but I haven't tried putting it on a Pi yet. I've been waiting for the bugs to get squished first. Otherwise, I'd suggest that maybe responses

Re: How do I install JUST the draws drivers please?
The draws driver is part of mainline Linux IF you are using a current
kernel.
See "Make your own Raspberry Pi image"

There is no CAT control on the DRAWS hat. The mini DINS are for the input/output of digital audio. You can attach two radios hence two connectors. CAT is done by a USB to CAT cable for your radio. You
