If you are unpacking your new DRAWS™ HAT, here are a couple of resources to get started:

DRAWS™ Shipping Schedule - Individual Requests

Dear All,

This group is the place to talk about the DRAWS™ HAT and Workstation.

We understand and appreciate that many DRAWS™ orders have been waiting as far back as last fall.

As was previously announced, we now have boards in house, with more coming.  We apologize for the delay, most of which could not be avoided.

Once the boards are in house, there is some finalizing work that needs to be performed before they are shipped to customers. (EEPROM programming, test, etc.)  This work is being performed now and shipments will start going out, with initial shipments going as early as Monday.

General orders are processed in the order received, so if you ordered early, you will be at the beginning of the queue.  If you ordered recently, you will be later in the queue.

Researching individual orders takes time away from programming, testing, packaging, and shipping.  Asking when an individual order will ship, does not speed up the delivery of that order -- in fact, it slows down all orders.

As we process individual orders, an email is sent with a tracking number.  At which point, updates on delivery are available online and we do not have any more information than what is available on the tracking system. (E.g. if you ask us, we can only go look up the information that is already online -- again taking time from processing orders.)  Watch for the email which is sent to the email address used for the order.

We will give general updates via the site blog and this list.  We ask and appreciate your patience.  We are working diligently to get orders shipped and to avoid future backlogs.

If you must communicate with us, on an individual basis, please use the form at bottom of the page at http://nwdigitalradio.com/support/

 A lot of exciting things are happening with DRAWS™, thank you for being a part of it.

Could we take these delivery discussions that are of interest to precisely ONE individual, off this list?

There IS a support email that goes directly to NWDR personnel and does not spam this list.

With these individual queries, this list’s utility is quickly reducing to near null.

If you ordered prior to March 13th, you’re in the first run.

First units arrived yesterday. After programming, test and packaging we'll begin shipping backorders.

This batch has completely sold out. The next batch is already scheduled for late April, by which time cases should be available as well.

How do I change the AGW from Channel 0 to Channel 1 #udrc-ii #direwolf

TG9AOR

Hello all. I am using APRSISCE/32 and whenever I want to send a message, either using KISS or AGW connections, direwolf sends it via channel 0.

I do not have a radio connected to and do not plan to use the HD-15 connector. How do I configure direwolf so that all messages go out via the DIN6 connector?

Thanks.

Yes, you will need to stop and start the daemon (or reboot) to pickup the new direwolf, if you have it running..

sudo systemctl stop direwolf
sudo systemctl start direwolf

And that will get you the "Device or resource busy" shown below because
direwolf is started with systemd. So do NOT do that. I only support
direwolf running as a modem.

$ pidof direwolf
352
$ systemctl status direwolf

$ systemctl status direwolf
● direwolf.service - Direwolf Daemon
   Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/direwolf.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
   Active: active (running) since Tue 2019-03-05 14:35:12 PST; 1h 22min ago
  Process: 339 ExecStartPre=/bin/rm -f /tmp/kisstnc (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
 Main PID: 352 (direwolf)
   CGroup: /system.slice/direwolf.service
           └─352 /usr/bin/direwolf -t 0 -c /etc/direwolf.conf -p

$ direwolf -c /etc/direwolf.conf
Dire Wolf DEVELOPMENT version 1.6 B (Mar  5 2019)
Includes optional support for:  gpsd hamlib

Reading config file /etc/direwolf.conf
Audio device for both receive and transmit: plughw:CARD=udrc,DEV=0  (channels 0 & 1)
Could not open audio device plughw:CARD=udrc,DEV=0 for input
Device or resource busy
Pointless to continue without audio device.
