Right, well I've never seen a microscope mount, so again, I'll have to research.

I shall investigate. Many thanks. Don't have a lot to do with astronomy so I'll have to do a bit of research.

How susceptible is the DRAWS board to RFI? Metal Case required?
Even harder on a bicycle… In my situation, it'll be mounted beside my FT-857D which is inside a 44L motorcycle plastic top-box. I do sometimes run 100W on SSB on the 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m and 6m ban

Utilizing DRAWS to encrypt handheld radios
If you're talking commercial-band stuff, then yes, encryption? Sure, knock yourself out. Amateur bands? Well, that differs. Here in Australia, it is permitted for emergency communications and in EMCOM

Just to be clear. What pins are for CAT?
None of them, there's a separate port on the DRAWS that gives you a TTL-level UART serial port. THAT, is what you want for doing CAT. Or you provide a separate cable hooked up via USB. I'll ultimately

Boot-strap [was Re: [draws and udrc] Download Issues]
Heh, I guess it's all relative. :-) I'm used to a minimal image that basically just gets the machine booted with all the hardware usable. I suppose in UDRC/DRAWS terms, that'd be the necessary drivers
