Basil,
I have installed your NWDR15 image and followed all of your getting started steps with the exception below in 1) and have a few issues/questions: 1) Was it a mistake to set my own pwd on the first boot? Is it required to login as pi, pwd: digiberry? I used Belena Etcher on my WIN10 laptop to image the mSD card with NWDR15.img and installed it in the RPi 2) is a duplicate callsign an issue: see the last two lines below ● ax25dev.service - AX.25 device

I have installed your NWDR15 image and followed all of your gettingNo not a mistake, it is a good idea. Is it required to login as pi, pwd: digiberry? No not required I used Belena Etcher on my WIN10 laptop to image the mSD card withI do not comment on any Windows utility you may use. I do not use Windows. 2) is a duplicate callsign an issue: see the last two lines belowNo it is just a warning and a symptom of a mis-configured /etc/ax25/axports file. ● ax25dev.service - AX.25 deviceThis might be due to your axports file or your understanding of which port to use on the DRAWS. Which connector is used to connect to your radio? alsa-show.shThese are the default settings and probably not what you want. Using alsamixer play with LO Driver Gain & PCM until your deviation is set properly. Read this: How to use measure_deviate.sh doc https://github.com/nwdigitalradio/n7nix/tree/master/deviation and especially: Setting Your TNC's audio drive level by John Ackermann https://www.febo.com/packet/layer-one/transmit.html Since you have enabled IN2 which expects audio coming from AFOUT be sure your radio has some output on pin 5 of the mDin6 connector. Choices are pin 4 for discriminator out & pin 5 for AFOUT but the correct routing must be also be chosen using alsa IN1 or IN2. 4) when I use ./btest.sh -P udr0 the system transmits as I receive onEither deviation is way off (most likely) or radio is connected to the wrong mDin6 connector. Also the message is logged in Direwolf and appears on However, on the APRS.fi site I get this: KO4BCZ was not found in theProbably because you are not transmitting anything that can be decoded by near by IGates. Everything looked ok from this command. I am close but I have no prior APRS experience or HAM experience for that matter and no one locally available to troubleshoot with right now.
